Santoy, AIA who has over 15 years of experience in design, construction, and project management is the principal and founder of Studio ARQ, LLC an architecture and design-build firm located in Chicago. Mr. Santoy has developed capital improvement plans in the mid seven figures and worked with private owners and tenants on a wide variety of projects in the Chicagoland area. Mr. Santoy also serves as an Alderman on the City Council of the City of Berwyn, IL and is an active member in several business and civic organizations.

He also specializes in Commercial Banking, for small and medium-sized business lending and commercial real estate finance and development. Most recently with Park National Bank (now a part of U.S Bank), he spent his last four years as Senior Vice President and Market Manager responsible for overseeing $60 million in small business/commercial and industrial loans in a variety of business sectors as well as commercial real estate and development loans. Prior, he was with Cosmopolitan Bank and Trust (FBOP Corporation) and Cosmopolitan National Bank of Chicago.

Ruben M. Saavedra is an account manager at PepsiCo Beverage Company. He is an expert at brand management and account development, handling many national accounts. Mr. Saavedra built a talent for sales operation and shopper marketing in his previous position as Urban Market Manager for PepsiCo. Rafael Diaz is one of three founders and a key member of Diaz Group LLC. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has built the company from a ‘four employee operation’ to a household name in the industry. Horticulture is a way of life for him, with most of his knowledge coming from hands on experience and his multiple years of landscape management studies from one of the best Horticultural schools in the Chicagoland area. He is a detail-oriented individual who pursues one project at a time to ensure complete satisfaction from his clients. Besides his role as a leader, his biggest passion is being able to bring design to life and be the best landscape and hardscape designer.
As an account manager at Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), Angeles Sandoval is responsible for corporate client management over national accounts in the transportation, commercial retail, and the banking sector throughout Northern Illinois. She is an advocate for policy, logistics, and service related issues impacting ComEd’s industrial and commercial customers. Ms. Sandoval has a breadth of experience with local governments, community based organization, and philanthropic partnerships.
Prior to joining ComEd, Angie graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s in Political Science, concentrating in local government and policy. In the duration of her undergraduate studies, she dedicated four years coordinating a statewide scholarship program for youth, at a local non-profit organization, Pilsen Wellness Center, in Chicago’s neighborhood of Pilsen.
